Cholar Daler Beef

Ingredients: Chana dal 1 Cup (soaked in water for 3-4 hour)
Boneless Beef cut into small pieces on the bone 750 grams
Oil 2 tablespoons
Coriander seed 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
Onions finely chopped 3 large
Ginger paste 1 tablespoon
Garlic paste 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder 1 & 1/2 teaspoons
Tomatoes finely chopped 1 large
Green chillies 4-5
Garam masala powder 1 & 1/2 teaspoons
Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons
Salt to taste
Method: Heat oil in non stick pan till smoking point. Lower heat and add coriander seeds, cumin seeds and onions and saute till onions are browned.
Place Beef in a bowl, add salt, ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder and 1 tsp red chilli powder and mix well. Add tomatoes to the pan, mix and saute for 10 minutes Or Beef Are Half Cooked.
Add green chillies, chana dal and ¼ cup water. Mix well cover and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add Beef, salt, remaining red chilli powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder and 1 cup water. Mix well, cover and cook till beef is soft. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
