Lemon Pilaf Rice


Lemon Pilaf Rice

Ingredients: 3 tablespoons butter or ghee
1/2 tea spoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon garlic
1/2 cup green peas

1/2 cup corn grain
1 1/2 cups Pulao rice (Like Basmati)
3 cups water
1 teaspoons grated lemon zest
salt to taste

Directions: Melt butter or ghee in a medium sauce pan with tight fitting lid. Add garlic, garlic stirring frequently until begin to colour brown. Add Corn & Peas about 5 minutes. Add rice stir. Add water, zest and salt. Bring to a boil and simmer covered, about 20-25 minutes or until rice cooked well. Serve Hot!
